ON OTHER NEWS, ART POST!
Let’s start with a certain bounty hunter
These may be two of my very favorite Samus renditions to date. I also forgot to put that reference sheet back in my block after scanning it so if I got wrong some details you know why. I’m stupid. :B
also, I was making another fine artwork of her with the tablet at school, but then Photoshop froze. on a mac. either macs are not as stable as they say or I’m ridiculously full of failure.
Some hand studies for school. the model was my left hand, thus explaining why fingers look so stubby. I’M UGLY AND I’VE GOT UGLY HANDS, K? XD
Last Friday there was a three-hour gap between one class and the other and I was feeling bold enough to spend those hours in the park even though it was freezing cold. These two drawings are among what I did that day. The first one is apparently a male black redstart. man. he couldn’t stay still for more than five seconds. he liked to get as near to me as possible and then fly away when I started drawing him, hence the title of this entry. >(
School assignment. so cute it’s depressing. if you can’t tell, Ai is actually a figment of Mewtwo’s imagination here.
the worst part about this is, it took about one hour and looks WAY better than any Frozen Truth artwork. this is both awesome and frustrating.

I already said it before, but I’m also working on the very early stages of an animation project. The finished work will be a hand-drawn music video of Monochromatic Stains by Dark Tranquillity. yes Ellemme you’ve heard me. I’ll post the script in my next entry. :)

AwA! Rosy, that Samus is fantastic! It is very realistic, and seemes she wants to stan up and to esc from the page *w*…And you have not hugly hands u_u
Or probably you have corrected them while you were drawing these beautiful studies? Because they are…waaah! Fantastic! I love this way of drawing, and in particular the third hand. You have a beautiful wrist (muahahah I’m too cruel, I know).
The bird is like >3, so lovely. I have never seen one of them, probably because here they could die…it is too cold…brrr!
So your school assings you Mewtwo and Ai…you are so lucky! And I’m sure that you take a high mark in your exam!

According to the wikipedia entry these birdies also nest in Nothern Europe so I don’t think it’s too cold for them where you live. maybe you’ve just been unlucky.
The assignment was actually about desaturated colors and trasparency. :B
It’s not snowing though :(

Hello :D I like very much your last drawings, Samus, where I see a great improvement in anatomy :D the hands…so realistic, really, they leave me in this way -> *_*, X°D, and the last one…the figure of Mewtwo, how did you paint it?? and…for me, it isn’t to say that that one is better than any other of Frozen Truth artwork…they were drawn some time ago and it is normal they are not as good as the last one (even if I -but ain’t an expert- like at the same ways all them) but drawing them you made your better (is it correct to say so?°_°), now you’re more competent, you’d be happy you’ve made so much progresses in this time! well, good evening and good night, see ya :D

The Mewtwo picture was made with watercolor, pencils and a white chalk to highlight Ai’s dress.
I guess you’re right about the Frozen Truth artwork. :) Thank you.
