In any case, here goes the artwork post! I gave an exam today so I’ve got some free time tonight, let’s make the best out of it, but be wary: this is going to be wacky and weird, please fasten your belts, thank you.

Here the idea was to draw Flint sitting on some doorsteps taking a cup of coffee from Volkner, and ended up studying how could I make it work. It should be able to stretch that way.

Pokémon Platinum nonsense
These are all part of an assignment that was due last week. Basically the teacher gave us these sketches from which we had to develop some characters. As you can see, I had quite some fun.
also the fourth one is not really a character and the situation is not really imaginary. I’d say it’s definitely not imaginary. dammit
This painting was part of today (well, as I write it’s already yesterday)’s exam. I had some paper birds I could put on the top of this so they would appear in the jungle and such, but as of now those birds are…well…let’s say they had a hard day and they’re needing some sleep. read also: I’M NOT PUTTING THEM ON AGAIN, SORRY

most of you already saw these but I’m reposting them anyway. I wasn’t joking when I said I wanted to build a fanlisting for those two, it’s what I’m doing, and I want to have a sprite adoption center in it. Now you know what these are for.
Also, I’m working on more Volkner and Flint artworks. I’ve got sketches for five of them right now, just so you know.
Let’s end this post with the infamous sneezing chair. Today I had a meeting with an illustrator and while I was there I heard a sneeze coming from a place where no one was sitting. I therefore resolved it must have been the chair. (gotta change drug dealer lol)

Uh… I’m sorry for not commenting the previous post… but I’ve heard most of the soundtracks, I only forgot to comment, as I always do, except for this time XD those soundtracks are veeeery very nice :DD
I spend all my time playing Super Metroid… it’s highly addictive XD (I also play Shopping Cart Hero, an awesome online game: http://www.monkeywantbanana.com/ShoppingCartHero/ ) I forgot about how beautiful Samus’ Gravity Suit is <3
By the way, the pictures you made are just AWESOME :DDDDD

and lol, the Knight Suit, the ray will be changed into a sword and will have bat’s wings. Also, you’ll be able to hide in he cloak, and Samus’ face will turn blue and gummy! This will be featured in Metroid 5: Samus in Dreamland.

si tratta di uno spin-off che apparentemente sarebbe visto dagli occhi dei pirati spaziali, ma non è specificato se sia un videogioco o qualcos’altro, secondo me sarà un manga o qualcosa del genere perché seriamente, un videogioco con protagonisti i pirati spaziali? sembra strano, e poi Metroid ha già un record di avere un manga che racconta la storia di Samus (prodotto dal curatore della serie, quindi canon), quindi.

nel libretto di istruzioni dicono che ha subito gravi danni a causa di uno scontro con Samus e in seguito il suo corpo è stato ricostruito, potrebbero raccontare (o far giocare) la sua storia prima dello scontro… però sapremmo già il finale… XD
(ma perché sto scrivendo in italiano? vabbè XD)

Hey, non ho avuto il tempo di leggere le altre risposte quindi perdonami se magari ti chiederò cose già dette… però volevo chiederti di cos’era l’esame? e..una cosa che riflettendomi mi ha incuriosito: come si svolge un esame a partire da un disegno?
Quella testa che spunta da un vaso mi sa di “bellsprout decadente”, non so perché XD e immaginati due persone che prendono il caffé in quel modo, secondo me avrebbero sporcato mezzo mondo prima di raggiungere quelle posizioni XD Samus ha più i tratti da maschio che da femmina, a prima vista…è impressione mia? tra gli altri, mi piace l’uomo che prende col guanto il pesce, è simpatico XD e la donna che cade è così irreale X°D

La materia era colore, e l’esame consisteva in una presentazione dei precedenti elaborati più un elaborato personale riguardante un soggetto articolato in scenario e materico. Lo scenario era una sorta di introduzione al soggetto ed il materico era una sua elaborazione fatto appunto su materiali diversi dal singolo foglio di carta/tavola/tela/whatever. Nel mio caso, avevo scelto come soggetto gli uccelli (lol), quindi ho portato come scenario la giungla in foto e come materico degli uccelli di carta colorata e piegata che erano appesi ad una tavola che a sua volta poteva essere fissata sullo scenario. Spero mi sia spiegata. :B

idk, quella Samus l’ho fatta completamente random, ha anche le braccia che si stringono in un modo cretino ed a guardarla meglio somiglia più a me che altro. non so neanche io cosa volevo fare lì B:
