two years after

I just watched the ep. The one with Volkner and Flint. I’m sweated, shaking all over, I still see the pictures behind my eyes.
It was so beautiful. They were just as I always imagined them to be. Their story was the one I imagined for them. Their voices were just as I expected them to be. Even the way the moved.

And their interactions were…even better. The way Flint kept following Volkner. The way they talked to each other. Volkner not being able to enjoy battling without Flint. Volkner just rushing past Flint to not meet his eyes. Flint grabbing him. And the flashback…them as kids laying on the grass under the rain, smiling at each other. The same smile they give to each other in the end.

Next Thursday there will be another ep. I’ll be working to their shrine, which is now at a very advanced point…

Edit: I cried like a baby when Kaze To Issho Ni began playing. God. My favorite Pokémon song played in the Volkner and Flint ep.

  3. volkner wasn’t not able to battle because flint left. he was unable to battle because he became bored with it and wanted to work on machinery instead. then he finished that work, so he felt depressed with nothing to do.

if he was unable to battle because flint was gone, how come flint coming back doesn’t make him able to battle? anyway this isn’t opinion, it’s what they say in the show, so, sorry!

also i left another comment, but “no love lost” you said proves they are canon in love, it actually proves the opposite. the phrase means hatred:

Idiom Definitions for ‘No love lost’
If there is no love lost between two people they have a strong enmity towards or hate for the other and make no effort to conceal it.

  5. why the anonimity and why this comment?

    1. when flint comes back it’s anyway not the same as when they spent all their time together. anyway, okay, opinion
    2. that was really a joke from me for a series of reasons I won’t explain (even though it’s hilarious that volkner, who visits the player’s house with flint all the time, should say something like that; I mean, if you hate him then don’t hang out with him, that’s not reading into things)
    3. I remembered this morning that I wanted to write Chiisaki Mono, not Kaze to Issho Ni. Chiisaki Mono plays during the battle when Volkner sees himself in Ash. Oracion plays much earlier. I wanted to write Chiisaki Mono.
