he’s not blinking now

( June 29, 2010 - 2:55 am, filed under artworks, tagged as , , )

hydride-02.jpg

that’s the artwork I was talking about the other day :> If you remember his first pic, you may notice the lack of the bionic hand; he still has it, though - it’s just that he can swap his “normal” right hand (which is still bionic, mind) with the other one. How would you like to roll in bed while asleep if your hand was made of knives? also, washing his dishes. even if his dishes were unbreakable, it would have still been a symphony of horrible screeching noises. D:

When I first introduced him, I stated that he would have been a villain in my story. Since then, he’s turned into the main character. I’ve figured out his whole backstory and the reason why he chose to go cyborg, but I can’t really disclose the details since that will be the focus of the plot. I also previously said that his story would have taken place in an alternate present; it will actually take place in the year 2076. Or, at least, that’s when Hydride becomes a cyborg. He’d be 25 or 26 by then, being born on August 31, 2050.

In the year 2076, the Earth is mostly at peace, the poor are few and everyone has stopped polluting the planet. This turn of events, however, doesn’t happen because everyone suddenly decides to be nice. In the twenties, scientists from all around the world are warning the leaders that, if pollution levels aren’t lowered in the next ten years, the sea level is going to rise causing a global-scale catastrophe. The governments hush them; however, these warnings reach the people, who get more and more alarmed. In 2028 the disaster happens, and the aftermath is colossal. There are riots everywhere and most governments and all kinds of powerful lobbies are taken down. Anyway, the world recovers pretty fast from this blow, and in twenty years most things are back to normal; the new governments are of course a lot wiser than their predecessors, and won’t repeat their mistakes. At the time in which the story takes place, we have a world in which Europe has turned into a federal nation, the Middle East is powerful and no longer a war zone, Africa can finally fend for itself, Asia is very powerful and North and South America are more or less the same as now.
Between the sixties and the seventies, groups of scientists are focusing on the research of cybernetic parts for a better treatment of diseases; as such, many private clinics are opening up just about everywhere in the world. This also means that people cannot just go YOU CHOSE TO BECOME A MACHINE! PFEH! on people with bionic parts because they are most likely people who suffered from terrible injuries and it’s not really their choice. However, this is not true for everyone; some clinics allow healthy people to have implants built in them for cosmetic or other reasons.

As for Hydride, he belongs to this last category. He chose to become a cyborg for his own reasons, and his friend John (you’ll see him later) helped him throughout this process. Hydride’s implants may look flashier than needed, but that’s because he designed them himself and he likes to wear them like a modern-day person would wear a tattoo, and he likes it when people look at him funny.
Of course, Hydride is also not his real name; it’s his Internet handle. His real name is Robert Cross. He adopts his nickname when he becomes a cyborg, although I can’t say a lot more about it right now. Another information that I have to put down but that I can’t really write about is that he’s an hacker. I’ll just leave this here.

A few notes about his appearance:

  • The wires look metallic, but they’re actually elastic and very resistent. Not a good idea trying to cut them - they’re so sturdy you’d break your scissors.
  • You’d think that with those wires he’d be always tripping, but no. At this point, they’ve become a part of himself. His proprioception includes the wires.
  • The arrow-shaped piece below his neck is an exposed part of his inner workings. It’s on the outside because it’s the intersection of several parts and it would be too bulky to be placed beneath his skin.
  • The top wire on his left arm goes into the back of that open collar.
  • The wire which goes behind him begins in his right shoulder. In a profile, you’d see that the front wire and the back wire pierce him like they were a single piece, though they’re not. I should really draw him like this.
  • The wires in his pants. I know. I know. But I just can’t say where do they go. Let’s keep this secret. At least for a while.
  • I already wrote that he’s wearing glasses instead of having his eyes fixed because he likes how they look on him. Other than that, they’re actually part of his head. When he has to take them off, they slide into the sides of his head. They are also water-repellent. By the way: Denise! I just discovered that this technology is ALREADY being used on glasses. I saw a few water-repellent glasses in a shop earlier today :D wow, the future is apparently NOW.

As for what concerns his ethnicity, Hydride is half-arab. In his first pic he was white; scratch that, I like him better like this. I have yet to decide where will this story take place, but whatever.
His personality, well. The pose should already say a lot. The only non-spoiler information I can give for now is that he’s insane. Not crazy or weird, insane. As in, his reasonings are not of a sane person. There is going to be a lot more subtlety than just that, though; we’re talking about a grey character here. His development is also going to be a crucial point of the story, so you know.

And that’s all for now. Whew.

THIS IS IT

GIGANTIC ARTWORK POST!
still without laptop, but since I’m currently at Jacopo’s I can use his awesome computer and do stuff! yes!

daevion-xivilai-01.jpg

This was made at the same time as the Xivilai painting, so we’re talking about stuff that’s already two months old. Oldest joke ever, but still cute. For me, at least. :>

daevion-08.jpg

stop complaining, you’re just 257 and that bedroll was pretty comfortable too

daevion-09.jpg

playing with pencil shadows. naked because he looked silly with underpants.
…lol I forgot the chair
HE’S LEVITATING ON HIS MAGIC MAGIC BUTT

daevion-10.jpg

I don’t even know why I made this

isaac-clarke-01.jpg

Isaac Clarke from Dead Space
well this could really be anyone else with a RIG, but since I used his figure as a reference we’ll say this is Isaac

riviera-01.jpgriviera-02.jpgriviera-03.jpg

then I played Riviera yet another time and wanted to find a way to draw the characters in my style, and this is what I got. Here we have Serene and Cierra. In case you were curious, the note on the second page is the name I wanted to give to the shrine to Serene I was planning to make, but as you already know I ended up falling in love with Malice instead.
I’ll never stop repeating it: drawing in anime style is
SO BORING

These are the artworks for the test I’m making for Angeltower Page. The space on the left is where the text will be.
I think they turned out great 8>

rachel.jpg

Now to something completely different. This painting is a gift for Cercatesori and was inspired from the song Rachel by Klimt 1918. It’s a very moving song written to a true story, you should really listen to it. The painting was based on these lyrics:

Death is down at the end of the street, it brings me on my knees
But I live in a world where nobody loves, nobody hopes
“Please hold me now, don’t let me fall” She says, her skin dirty with mud
“I hold you, love, like a wounded bird, I won’t let you fall!” I scream with pain
Rachel knows her blood still runs, the ground turns red so close my arms
I see the sun going down her eyes, she won’t forget to sleep with me tonight

The blood in this painting is actually not paint, it’s my blood.

pelipper-01.jpg

Now back to something less intense. When Cercatesori came, we spent part of the evening drawing silly stuff. Here, have a Pelipper.

octillery-cercatesori-01.jpg

After that Pelipper, crack ensued.

sheila-03.jpgsheila-04.jpg

Sheila makes a comeback with a new design. I think she’d look great in a digital work, but NO COMPUTER HURR HURR
For a few days, I toyed with the idea of actually making a comic with her as the main character but then scrapped it because I couldn’t make any other characters in her same style and because I really don’t want for this to be my first “serious” comic. I don’t want to give people the wrong impression about my work, since Sheila is my only anthro character and I don’t really care about furries and such, if you catch my drift. Well. Sheila lives on, though.

daevion-11.jpg

there’s no such thing as not enough Daevion

daevion-12.jpg

Classic!

daevion-13.jpg

this is really for my own amusement
you could say it’s fanservice, except this is not a fan art so I don’t know
I left a blank page after this one so that Daevion can cry in there when I’m not looking

daevion-14.jpg

At this point, Daevion is not a derivative character anymore, so it wasn’t fair to keep drawing him with the Oblivion outfit and to have his backstory fit with the Elder Scrolls canon. He’s really my own creation, so I wanted his outfit to be my creation too.
This is Daevion’s final design. He no longer lives in a fantasy universe; he now lives in an alternate present. Alternate, because how else could he still be an elf then XD I still have to write his new backstory, but he’s the same as before as for his personality. I’ll have to draw a better reference picture with colors, but as you can imagine his sweater is crimson and grey, his trousers are grey and his shoes are black. As for his necklace, the actual design is the one under his right hand.
He looks so elegant :> I like him even more now.

hydride-01.jpg

This is Hydride. Here we’re talking about another alternate present in which people are beginning to modify their bodies using cybernetic parts. Hydride - which is not his real name, of course - modified himself so to enhance his physical capabilities. He had a very strong reason for doing so. I don’t know what this reason is yet, but I know that, since he implanted a cyber hand on his dominant right, he had to learn to write with his left hand. The wires on his upper body don’t allow him to wear anything on his torso anymore, thus why he’s half naked. The rest of his clothing is very practical. As you can see, the upper part of his trousers is a bit larger than how it should be so to not rub against the wires down there, but they are also very tight on his legs and tucked into his boots so they won’t fall down. One could ask why didn’t repair his eyes so to stop wearing glasses, but he likes them, and that’s all about it.

hydride-concept-01.jpg

Concept sketches. The colored sketch is his very first concept; the glasses were added later. I spent a good day working on his design, in case you were wondering. The first idea was to make him into an enemy for Sheila, but that was very silly since he’s a human and Sheila is an anthro fennec. This idea was dropped for good right after sketching him here.
I should really write a more detailed entry about my creative process, but know that for me is very important to understand how a character feels into his skin and to have his design making sense rather than being just pretty. For this, I even spent a few days wearing wires all over me to understand how does it feel. One would think that all those wires make walking hard and tripping easy, but I found out that’s not true and that after a while you end up considering them a part of your body. I also found out that people is more prone to notice someone who walks in a weird way than a person covered in wires. How else could I have made these discoveries?
But I’m getting off topic. Anyway, Hydride will probably be something like an evil guy in his universe. He seems to be such an important character, so I’m taking my time to write his story.

margareth-01.jpg

Margareth Stone belongs to the same universe as Hydride. She’s 31 and works in a cybernetic parts research center. She’s not brilliant at all, though; she just makes some components and that’s it, the big projects are in the hands of her superiors. Margareth is very average in everything, actually, and she’s not a beauty either. Her fashion sense is also questionable.
Her husband left her a few years ago because he realized his life was boring and that he could have much more. He was really one for adventure; he married Margareth before he could understand that part of himself. Margareth even let him have his way with other women without objecting, but in the end he couldn’t cope with this lie anymore. The problem is, he left his wife alone with their three-years-old child. All that’s left of Margareth’s family is her old mother and a sister who lives far away, so she had great problems in taking care of the kid, who had in the meanwhile become her only reason to live.
Luck turns to her side when a project for enhancing the brain’s capabilities with the help of technology comes to the human testing phase. Offering herself as a test subject, she has the right to work a lot less and be paid a lot more for only being in the project, with the downside that of course it’s her brain, so if something breaks down she’ll have to run to the center and get fixed as soon as possible. But even like this, the risks are not very high - she was also among the people who made the parts for that project, so she knows how the whole thing works.
So, she undergoes surgery and the top of her head is changed with a metal dome that can be opened to check what’s going on. Because of that she can’t have hair anymore, but since she doesn’t want to freak out people she always wears a wig. Now that she’s a test subject she has got enough time and money to take care of her kid, but she’s also become a lot different from before; she can now memorize and learn everything without effort, retrieve information from any part of her brain at any time and think a lot faster. So, her way to see the world changes as well…
And that’s when her backstory ends and her story begins.

You’re going to hear a lot more about Hydride, Margareth and their universe. There will be new characters and new details. For the time being, every post in which I’m mentioning this alternate universe will be tagged as “unnamed saga”. I’m going to rename the tag in the future, of course. It’s just a placeholder.

LOOK WHO’S BACK
this didn’t turn out as planned but well it’s still cute
There would be two more pics with them but they’re suggestive so I’ll be posting them in another entry, another time.

Phew, I’ve finally finished writing this epic entry, to bed now

dragged into oblivion

( September 7, 2009 - 6:01 pm, filed under artworks, personal, videogames, tagged as , , , )

daevion-01.jpg

Introducing Daevion. Born under the stars of the Ritual and therefore blessed by the goddess Mara, he belongs to the ancient race of the Altmer, the cultured, tall, magicka-gifted elves from Summerset Island.

Unlike many of his kin, he doesn’t think of himself as belonging to a superior race; while he’s certainly proud of his cultural heritage, he’s also well aware that it was the same advanced society that sent his mother in permanent exile on the mainland for being the offspring of an illegitimate union of her Altmer mother with an Imperial man, thus making her of impure blood and unworthy of living on Summerset. Daevion himself was born and spent his childhood in the Imperial City, considers himself like a citizen of the Empire to all extents, and believes that his kinsmen should begin to seriously rethink their core values instead of acting all haughty and collecting distrust from the other races.

Like all elves, Altmer can live longer than a thousand years. Daevion is 257 years old, which would make him about 26 in human years. He is always seen wearing a red vest which he took care in enchanting so to grant him greater magicka resources; one might say it’s his signature item of clothing, and it comes as no surprise that people in Cyrodiil have come to refer to him as “the crimson mage”.

daevion-04.jpg

Calm and of pleasant disposition, Daevion is well loved among gents and rulers alike; as an adventurer he’s always the first to lend a hand with dangerous jobs, and he has fame of being selfless and heroic. Even though he genuinely likes to be helpful, it must also be noted that he genuinely likes to go on adventure and get his hands on a good loot, so those claims are not completely true. Anyway, he is a sworn enemy of everything evil and believes in purging the world from wretchedness. He is especially concerned with freeing the world from the ones who live off harming other people, since they’re a hazard to society; he has no pity for bandits, necromancers, assassins and vampires.
Apart from these strong opinions, he tends to be a mild and forgiving person. He is cheerful in a quiet way - he greets people with a smile, but is never overly jumpy. It’s funny, cause even though he dislikes his stuck-up kinsmen, he can’t help but keep a certain Altmer poise.

Very spiritual, Daevion worships the Aedra in the Altmeri ways; most of his worship goes to Mara, who’s been protecting him since his birth, but he’s also devout to Zenithar, Kynareth, and - of course - Auriel. He also worships some Daedra princes; he is especially fascinated with the powers of Vaermina and Sheogorath. He thinks that sanity and madness are actually often overlapping, and he wishes to know more about this subtle balance. One of Daevion’s strongest motives is his unquenchable thirst for knowledge; this has often led him to follow the orders of some deities to better understand their sphere of influence and position in this world. However, he will not just blindly go on any quest: if there is evil, there must be deities connected to evilness, and he’s not going against his principles in exchange for knowledge which is best not to have.

In spite of being so intelligent and wise, Daevion is also very possessive as for what concerns his belongings and always looking for more to own and more money to make. He says that he likes to surround himself with beautiful things; the obvious truth is that he’s just plain avid. Also, because of his ability to talk himself out of any situation, he’s considered by some to have a manipulative streak - which is not entirely wrong, even though this is something that’s probably beyond his control.

daevion-02.jpg

Most Altmer are powerful sorcerers, and Daevion is no exception. He is especially skilled in bending reality with Alteration magic; he can open chests without even touching the lock, make heavy equipment weigh less than a feather, and transform his body at will so he can run across lakes or breathe underwater. His other specialty is using elemental Destruction magic to scorch, freeze, or electrocute his enemies. He’s also good at Illusion magic; however, he won’t use it for tricking people into following his orders - he just likes to use magical Light to illuminate dungeons and other dark places, and he has enough confidence in his skills that he just doesn’t care about giving away his position to enemies. Should things go wrong, he can anyway use his knowledge in matters of Restoration magic to heal himself and get back up. He is also good at Alchemy, a decent Mysticism scholar and knows the basics of Conjuration.

While his crimson robe is his most prominent piece of equipment, Daevion also wears a few enchanted pieces of jewelry that help him overcome the Altmeri weakness against elemental magic and grant him the ability to reflect spells and physical damage to the attacker.
When adventuring, he will usually keep a balance between charging in and taking his enemies down from a distance. When facing enemies wielding a blade or a blunt weapon, he will get very close so to cast spell directly at them while taking in hits to reflect right back at them; spellcasters are taken care of from a distance, because this way he can dodge their attacks with ease.

daevion-03.jpg

Daevion’s mount is a unicorn. Cliché much? It may seem so; the truth, however, is different. As ridiculous as it may sound, Daevion was exploring the Heartlands and just sort of stumbled upon him. Unicorns are aggressive creatures and will think of anyone in sight as a possible threat and will proceed to impale them; however, this one seemed to be friendly towards Daevion and let him jump on. Maybe it was because only a pure of heart can ride a unicorn, or maybe it was because Daevion wasn’t carrying any weapon besides his own magic; in either case, the two have been sharing a close bond since then.

The unicorn seems to be a wandering soul, as it will often walk away when Daevion dismounts. This causes him to be easily attacked by creatures or bandits, case in which his elven friend will hear his cries and come to the rescue. Sometimes the unicorn will run after deers and Daevion will play along and join him in the hunt. Why not? Venison tastes good.

daevion-house-01.jpgdaevion-house-02.jpgdaevion-house-03.jpgdaevion-house-04.jpg

As a result of his adventuring combined with his fine bartering skills, Daevion is very wealthy. He owns a large house in Cheydinhal, and even though he rarely stays indoors for more than a day he sure likes it there. He filled up his place with interesting items he happened to come across during his travels.

daevion-01.jpg

His calm expression. I noticed that the playing character in Oblivion can have an array of other facial expressions, but you will probably never notice since you’ll either be playing in a first-person perspective or only seeing your character’s back. In my experience, they can frown, yawn, look grave (like in the second screencap in this page) and smile.
Taking a guess, I’d say the frown is for when your character is in battle. The yawn may either be random or an idle pose, since I spotted Daevion yawning while he was waiting for Count Hassildor in Skingrad’s castle hall. The grave look…the only time I saw it was at the time of that screencap: at the end of Vaermina’s quest, looking at Arkved drowning in his nightmare. I’m sure it’s a separate expression and not the default face, but why should that even exist anyway? I’m not sure about the smile either, it may have something to do with disposition but I’ve not noticed any consistent behavior. Oh well.

daevion-02.jpg

fireballs are so good

daevion-03.jpg

his amulet
(this is totally not an excuse to draw him half-naked)

daevion-04.jpg

what
I-I think I like my own character, is that a bad thing?

woah that was a massive post :o as a side note, I think I may suffer from the blank page syndrome. I could go on writing forever when no one cares, but when I want to write a lot I get stuck and end up procrastinating. The worst part is that this happens no matter how much I actually want to write, and this may also be why I don’t write stuff for ATP as often as I’d like. I should find a way around this.

on other news I moved to an apartment and I’m loving it :D well, except for the current lack of internet connection, but this is only a temporary issue
I think I’ll post pictures when we’ll be finished with assembling the furniture! we chose some freakin awesome stuff. our living room table is white with black chairs with white cushions and looks fantastic; the table for the room, on the other hand, is going to be plain badass. black with red legs. the best part being that it was my roommate to suggest the color combination, figure that.
BUT LOOK AT ME, GETTING ALL EXCITED ABOUT FURNITURE soon I’ll find myself going nuts over new curtains and I’ll get in the news as the first person to become an elderly at nineteen years of age

Platinum team, aka The shit parade

( April 26, 2009 - 2:28 pm, filed under artworks, personal, tagged as , )

PLATINUM TEAM!
currently missing its sixth member which I have yet to meet :)

stainless-01.jpg

Stainless. I couldn’t really choose again Turtwig this time and didn’t want a Chimchar, so I had to go with Piplup. Except that I hate Piplup. I don’t mind Prinplup and I like Empoleon, but Piplup…blargh.
So I chose a Piplup wishing for him to evolve as soon as possible. I asked him to battle against Pearl’s Turtwig, and he lost. I just went back, healed him and rushed for the tall grass asking him to battle again. And he lost again. I began to feel upset, and suddenly I got it. It wasn’t him. It was me. How could I ask him to battle for me when I couldn’t even look at his face? I just saw him as a future Empoleon, not as the Piplup he was. I was not any better than the people I disliked, and what made me feel really sick was the fact I knew I was more concerned about my image than this Piplup, who trusted me in a sort of a blind way and whose trust had been betrayed from the very beginning.

Somehow, we got to Sandgem. I had to meet Rowan knowing that I failed him, and I failed Piplup. I entered the lab and handed the Pokémon back. Rowan looked at him, and said he had already bonded with me. That was because he saw in me what I could have become, not the jerk I had been to him. In a way, he learned from me; but while I wanted him to become an Empoleon because I disliked him as a Piplup, he wanted me to become a better person because he knew I disliked myself for what I had become.
I named him Stainless for his nobleness and I promised him that I would have done my best to become the person he saw in me. Even trying to be what he envisioned would have been enough.

Stainless is very shy and can be a bit short-tempered. This is because his high morals bring him to be quite judgmental over how other Pokémon behave, and tends to be easily angered by them not behaving how he thinks they should. He hardly forgives other Pokémon’s mistakes, probably because he knows he wouldn’t forgive himself if he was the one making such mistakes and ends up measuring any other Pokémon by his meter. We could say he has quite an ego. However, he usually doesn’t voice his opinion and keeps his reasonings for himself; also, his judgment doesn’t usually extends over people too. It’s more of a neurosis of his than else, actually.

arcadia-01.jpg

Arcadia. I’m not really that big on horses, but there was something that clicked on that Ponyta and besides I couldn’t keep on training only one Pokémon forever, so that was it. Arcadia is currently the only female in an all-male group, but she doesn’t really care, because no Pokémon in the team is going to treat her differently because of that. In fact, if they dared to, she’d probably crush them to pieces.

If Stainless can be somewhat prone to anger, Arcadia has the shortest temper ever. She gets furious for, well, almost everything. Don’t try to argue with her if you like to be alive. Actually, even calmly talking with her can make her go on a rampage. She is easier to deal with when communicating with her in non-verbal ways, but you have to be good at it, else you’ll just annoy her. She also has a reputation for never caring about her own business and gossiping about everything, but obviously no one can object at that either.

Arcadia is very concerned about battling and getting better at it. She likes to think of herself as an invincible warrior respected and feared by everyone, and somehow she fits the role. She scorns friendship and claims that emotions only get in her way, but she’s able to pull off some nice teamwork nevertheless. It’s mostly her trying to have some attitude, actually.
She seems to have less temper tantrums when with Rigel, who has similar interests as her.

(also please don’t say anything about her in the drawing - this is my best attempt at a horse ever. I cannot draw horses to save my life)

rigel-01.jpg

Rigel. I got an Eevee from Bebe, and he was so friendly and eager to battle that I thought, why not giving him a chance? I named him Rigel, like the brightest star in the constellation of Orion, because as an Eevee he was sparkling with possibilities (yeah, Stainless-related, I know). I didn’t really know how to evolve him though, I had already trained an Espeon and a Glaceon and didn’t want an Umbreon or a Leafeon, so I went to the Underground to dig up an evolutionary stone, using the first one I would have obtained. I was hoping for a Thunderstone, and a Thunderstone was what I got :)

Rigel is naturally bright, cheerful and welcoming to everyone; not even Arcadia can be too angry when he’s around. Not unlike her, he’s addicted to not doing his own business, but his behavior is very rarely complained because he’s just too nice to deserve bitter remarks. Stainless seems to be irritated by his nosiness, but seldom to never lets his emotions be known.
Rigel is incredibly good-natured and seems to never get disappointed over anything. He will even faint with a smile, because he knows that to be a better fighter he has to lose and learn from his defeats too. Arcadia just cannot understand how can a dedicated fighter like him accept defeat, but their common love for battling usually transcends their different views on the subject.

Rigel has a thing for smelling everything and seems to be able to recognize when his opponents are most likely to attack through their smell. He thinks this is because of his mother being an Espeon.

meta-01.jpg

Meta. In spite of him being a sentient man-made Pokémon, he’s actually very calm and collected. He has a very philosophical outlook on life and believes that, even if he’s just an experiment gone awry, he has no reason to freak out because he thinks the only difference between him and other Pokémon is that, while they either believe Arceus or Mew created their species or they don’t know where they come from, he’s sure of his origins and has nothing to object about being created by a man, just like other Pokémon have nothing to object about being created by a deity. When someone tells him that deities have their own reasons to create species and men created him only for experimenting purposes, he replies that if men replicated in him part of the biostructure on which Pokémon are based on, then he too must be part of the creation, somehow.
Meta is strongly religious, and is especially devoted to Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf; he believes that his final upgrade was imbued with their powers. He also feels thankful to his creators and wishes to meet them someday, for he thinks they must have received some sort of divine power to program it the way it is, with his glitches and everything. He believes his glitches are what allow him to be really alive and not just a complex machine as they give him the chance to shape his unique personality basing on how he perceives his software skips.

As any other Virtual Pokémon, Meta is able to merge with the Internet and revert to pure data form. Which is also why he’s addicted to porn.

windrider-01.jpg

Windrider. He was the scout of a group of Sneasels near Snowpoint City. It was the coldest winter they ever had; unable to find any food, they were slowly dying one by one. Windrider was the one in charge to explore the nearby peaks for some source of food. He found a beautiful warm oasis with plenty of food for them to feed until exhaustion; but before telling the other members of his group, he wanted to spend a day in that paradise with a special someone, a female Sneasel from another group who was very hungered and whose heart was trying to win since time…The two groups were allied, so he feared nothing and went to inform his love of the discovery. She accepted to meet him the next evening on a place they both knew so that he could lead her from there to the oasis he found. Windrider went to spend the day in the place he found, waiting for time to pass so he could meet her love. At the hour they set for the meeting he went to wait for her, but she didn’t show up. He left the mountains for the valley where the two groups lived, and then he saw it.
Apparently, someone from his group overheard their secret conversation and went to slay everyone to get the position of the oasis Windrider had discovered, without success. And the Sneasels in the other group defended theirselves killing everyone in the other. They were allies, but hunger does not care for such things. Windrider was the only living between the slaughtered corpses of everyone he knew and cared about.

Windrider left that place, it was too hard for him to fend for himself knowing what happened, the guilt his companion. He doesn’t care about evolving, he fears that if his body changed then something else would change within him and he would develop a split-personality between him as a Weavile and him as a Sneasel with everything he caused. Because of his trauma, he has developed an irrational fear of becoming mad and he tries his best to keep himself sane.

Him and Meta get really along. However, Windrider is developing something more for his friend, which obviously upsets him to no end.

VG dubbed this team “the shit parade” because everyone in this team seems to have some degree of neuroticism. Even that Scyther I got to train her later, she’s both serious and vain. what.
This shit parade defeated the League being ten levels weaker than Cynthia’s Pokémon, so I have taken pride in calling them like that. I think I have really bonded with them.
